Change of ferry
Discussion
Having managed to pull a few strings we can now make our way down a bit earlier and, if possible, catch the Thursday overnighter from Portsmouth to Caen instead of the originally planned Friday morning one.
My question is this, has anyone ever changed ferries at such short notice and, if so, did it cost a lot to do?
Just thinking with the security the way it is now it would be better to get there early on Friday instead of late afternoon / evening.

they should be used to it as road travel in UK and France when they are playing up can be fun, plus sea conditions and more fun in french ports with fishing boats etc
subject to availability and an admin charge and the price difference if overnight far more popular/expensive can't see it being a problem

£25 admin fee for changing booking - I did it a couple of weeks ago. You can manage your booking online with the ref. number - dead easy.
Bear in mind that if the booking was made through a 3rd-party (Ferries-direct et al), the change must be made through them also, and their fees are higher (and they're closed most of the weekend...). I would never book with anyone other than Brittany themselves now.
