I have tried to remove the door panel on my 2007 DB9 due to trying to access the door control module. I almost succeeded but not quite. If you look at the image (and imagine it is the drivers door) then the red circle is where the panel was stuck. I removed all the screws and the pull handle but just couldn't quite get it off. I didn't want to apply any further force than I was doing as it was quite a lot. Am I missing something, I cant see any other screws or fixings, but it just wont budge from that point.

I managed to access the workshop manual and found this instruction. However I can find no sign of any screw on the top right of the door which would explain my difficulty. I don't want to try and start pulling the leather back. confused

Remove the little triangle of red leather on the top edge, where the black arrow is on the workshop manual. It's velcroed on. Screw is under there.

Just to resurrect this thread, the driver's door on my DB9 has decided that it won't open from the inside and will only open if you drop the window and use the outside handle rolleyes

To remove the door card is it just the 6 screws mentioned above and then lift it with a pry tool?

And does anyone have any experience of what it is that fails/stretches/gives up which stops the door from being opened from the inside?

I had the same issue on my 07 db9, there is a short cable that runs from the door lock mechanism to the handle inside the car which has plastic guides at each end.. mine had cracked - replacement cable was about £40 and fitting involved lots of swearing, fiddling and having to ‘use the force’ as you can’t see what your doing on the door catch end!!
