Quick question RE: Porsche Curves
Discussion
Hi all,
LeMans newbie here staying at the Lycian Events site at Porsche Curves.
Was planning to take a small 3-way fridge with me for beer/bacon, along with a 907 gas bottle.
Having read some threads, it seems that bringing in the gas or more than 2L of booze could be troublesome.
As our site is inside the circuit confines, I assume this could be an issue?
If so, I'll not bother buying the fridge as we won't have any other hookup method other than gas... and if the beers are going to be confiscated then there's no point me even buying the fridge as I'm not spending £200 to cool bacon!
Arriving on Thursday - likely around 6/7PM traffic dependent, if that makes it more/less likely.
Cheers,
Craig

Hi, for the past 3 or 4 years there's been "rules" about gas bottles and alcohol, but so far I've seen little evidence of it ever being put in to practice. Alcohol is generally fine but choose cans not glass bottles, it's the glass that's the issue. For the gas, they claim not to like anything larger than the Camping Gaz cylinders unless it's a bottle for a caravan/motor home. But we've always taken a bottle in to run a fridge and hob and so far not had it confiscated.
