I ordered plates from there a couple of weeks ago and they turned up the next day.

I had issues a couple of months ago. Was getting no response. My credit card refunded in the end.

Same here. No problem with my plate delivery either.

Mine must have been March/April ordered 2 sets, one set arrived the next day, others nowhere to be seen! Mailed, phoned no response.
Contacted my card issuer they didn't get a response so refunded me the cost of the plates plus pro-rata shipping.
Used someone else. First time I've ever had an issue over 10 odd years of using them.

Has anyone used fancyplates recently, was looking at ordering through them as after some Pre 2001 font plates. Anywhere else to recommend if not?
I tried a few times and couldn't get their website to work so gave up. Looking to move a number along out of place *haters dive in*

I used them last month, turned up very quick. I avoid the ebay ones as the quality isnt always great.

Thread resurrection. I ordered some plates last year. All fine. Ordered some last week. No comms, no plates and now their email is bouncing as mailbox full. Assume that’s £30 lost.

For the record. The plates arrived. No emails, no despatch, no response to chasers but they arrived after 5 working days.

I have always found communications with them to be poor, but never had any problems with plates arriving. They are still my go to supplier for plates.

Thread from the dead laugh

Has anyone used Fancyplates lately ? I ordered a plate on Dec 20th and had a confirmation email straight away and payment was taken. Delivery was supposed to be next day, so should have been before Christmas. However, still no sign and nothing on their website to say they are still closed for Christmas and no out of office on their email either.

I have emailed a few times and had no reply. The phone number doesn't seem to work either. I have used them before with no problem, but they do have a lot of reviews for poor communication. Hopefully just on an extended break.

They're more than double the price that you can get a set from in a multitude of other places. frown They used to do translucent rear plates for TVRs but they don't seem to be an option any more.

Although they seem to be available here. Same company, 2 websites??

ETA:I realise now that my first search put PFC plates at the top of the search. rolleyes

That's the website I used. Luckily I paid by credit card, so I can always get my money back through them if nothing turns up.

It’s clearly far safer to use ebay

I wanted a 3/4 sized plate with pre 2001 font, and they seemed to be the only company listing them.

Fair enough I don’t know too much about them, but it does still seem possible. The sellers would very likely alter the sizing if required too. Eg
