Air filter washable?

Hi all, is the factory air filter washable? If so, does anyone have any tips for cleaning it?

you can wash it with soapy water to clean it and then re oil it. you can get the oil from most bike shops (the oil goes on the side facing down). hope this helps.

I wouldn't use soap or water personally. I clean mine with petrol, then re-oil with spray oil i bought from local bike shop.
