I've just got an iPhone, which at the moment doesn't automatically tell me via the PCM that I have a text. If I press the home button and ask Siri it will read the last text and I can reply, but it means touching the phone which is something I don't want to do.

Windows Phone used to automatically tell me when a text came in and I could choose to listen to it or not. Then reply, without touching the handset.

Does anyone know of a way to get the iPhone to do what I require?

Many thanks

How do I tell? It's in a 2011 997 GTS.

With mine, 2014 Cayman, the bit I missed to turn on is Show Notifications on the Iphone.

On the phone go to settings, select Bluetooth, select PCM, and enable show notifications.

There is no option to select show notifications when I select PCM.
