North and East Essex (will completely re-set your perceptions about the county)

De La War Pavillion; Bexhill

Yorkshire - all of it (even the cruddy bits are still interesting)

The Barbican in Plymouth

Cornish coast (forget most of the middle bits)

South Bank of London on a summer Sunday morning

Norfolk Broads (mid winter on a crisp, bright day)

Hastings (old town)

Chester

Some nice places in Northumberland in the OP's list, but I would add taking a walk up the beach from Seahouses to Bamburgh.

Also, I agree a hundred times over how nice much of Essex is, especially near the Suffolk border. I really like Lavenham, and let us add The Hythe in Maldon, with some excellent fish and chips and a pint at the Queen's Head.

Mansfield. The only place I know that, if you ask a girl to come outside with you when you're in a club, she thinks you want to fight her not fk her.

Apparently Worksop is the same. Though that's because there is a high chance you are related to the other person.

the Roman Baths in Bath
Cambridge and punting on the Cam along the backs
Hadrian's Wall
Stonehenge, but also check out the Avebury stones. Not far and more accessible
Brighton
Alnwick Castle
Pick a seaside town and have some fish a chips.

Find a proper farmer's market. There's still a few around

One of my favourite times with my children was sitting in the harbour in the lower town of Fishguard, eating fish and chips and then catching crabs.
