Any recommendations for a decent news website. I like the Mail website cut I can longer tolerate the absolute garbage they publish.

Cheers

Guardian is one of the few without a paywall - but do have the annoying "whilst you are here...please donate" popup all the time.

Mrs BC reads the Mail on line - constantly sends me links to stuff she wants to get frothy about - I have no wish to share in her frothing.....

I found this an issue as I have a long standing view of both DM and Guardian links on here....

She's not that tech minded so I told her to always send the links to one of my alternate email addresses as my primary gmail account doesn't' like them (always corrupts the links due to her using yahoo - if she changed to gmail It wouldn't be a problem due to the same set up).

However I did say if she has an issue and needs to contact me about important issues then use the other email which I can pick up on my phone.

In my gmail account all her emails go straight to the trash and she asks me about the link she sent me I just have to either say "I know dear" or "good lord state of this country" and she thinks I've read it

Not had an issue in 3 years.........

Their investigative journalism is pretty good if you can filter the left wing lunacy.

Interesting that nobody has mentioned the BBC yet.

BBC World TV coverage is pretty good if a little light. Similar to BBC World Service - both are good to see a global view.

BBC website itself has gone downhill in recent years. They are naturally conservative for live events which leaves them behind the curve compared to peers, but their articles can be very good.

The Economist is pretty good for some global aspects.
