PCM 2.0 Disc

I'm picking up my first Porsche tomorrow and really excited about it. It's a 996 C4S and i'm told by the inspector that the disc is missing.
If you can help, I'd like your advice on the following:

Is there a suitable disc that I can buy?

would a PCM 2.1 disc work in the PCM 2.0?

What is the latest update that is compatible in PCM 2.0?

Am I mad?

The latest disks for PCM2.0 are late 2015. You can buy the 9-disk European CD set from a Porsche Centre for about £225, or there are several online sites selling copies of individual disks for about £20 each.

PCM2.1 is DVD based, and incompatible.
