Eurosport player through the TV, timing app on the tablet, RLM on my phone if i get fed up with the Eurosport guys, although TBH last night Martin Haven was on good form and the banter reminded me of test match special.
Probably go to sleep with RLM in the headphones for that true La Sarthe experience.

I'm watching on Eurosport Player and listening to Radio LeMans audio.
Very impressed with the ES P stream with only ambient sound - HDMI from my laptop to the TV.
What are other 'stay at home' people doing?

No panic. No packing. No ferry crossing. No huge petrol bills. No large hotel bill. No sunburn. Very comfy chair. Good food all day. Very handy toilet with H&C running water. A chance to see the whole race and not miss anything except for comfort breaks.
And I'll be home about as soon as the race ends avoiding the queue out of Parcing Vert and the mystery tour laid on by officialdom.
What's not to like?
I like that the Eurosport ambient feed still has Eduardo's race control radio messages. I do like Eduardo he always sounds so calm but very authoritative - not someone to mess with!
The only disadvantage of watching/listening online is that none of them are at the same time. RLM is behind Eurosport and the timing is in front of both.

Really fancied making my first trip to Le Mans this year but wife had other ideas and I have an awesome little 3 month year old that I couldn't leave
Usual for me will be printing an A3 spotters guide at work tomorrow which really helps keep in touch with the cars and drivers. Watched a bit of the quali coverage yesterday and today on my dad's sky go for eurosport coverage linked up to the tv. Invited myself over to my parents on Saturday so my mum can look after the baby whilst me and my dad chill out with timing app on the laptop, eurosport on the tv, French baguette, cheese and meats for a snack and kronies on tap or some of those stupid 25cl mini beers from Lidl. Finish up with a big family bbq then watch through the night at home between feeds.

On Eurosport player, but just found out that as I will be in Italy, commentary will be in Italian!!! Does the radioi Le Mans commentary correspond to what is happening on Eurosport player? If not, I am not sure what my plan should be as I doubt I can learn Italian in time!!!
It was ok during 2nd qualify last night. Prancing Hippo said:

Radio Le Mans basically uses the same feed that Eurosport uses. Eurosport usually run an non-commentary live feed so look for that.Prancing Hippo said:

You might not understand a word of it but at least it will sound nice and quite excitable, especially if a 488 is leading in either GT class.Really enjoyed watching 90% of last year's race with a group of friends around a huge TV screen. Won't be the same this year as Big TV-Screen Guy is away, so I'll be relegated to trying to keep up via internet/radio as much as possible.
Maybe the answer is a requirement for manufacturers to have to build/sell a set number of cars in order to race, be it 250-500 cars a year, then, within certain other configurations, just let them race, instead of the complicated sandbagging-encouragement of the BOP system.
I'm hoping for a Ford win, but think Ferrari will take it this year in GTE, as the BOP seems to favour them over the race distance.

How's that new Ford GT doing?
I know a lot of people are not so keen on the GT participating (built as it was to to exact requirements of competing in the GT-Class), but without the BOP I think it would wipe the floor with the competition. Good or bad for the sport? I'm not sure, as I can see arguments both ways. It seems odd, though, that BOP is bringing everyone down to the lowest common denominator, rather than pushing manufacturers to make quicker cars.Maybe the answer is a requirement for manufacturers to have to build/sell a set number of cars in order to race, be it 250-500 cars a year, then, within certain other configurations, just let them race, instead of the complicated sandbagging-encouragement of the BOP system.
