Currently driving a 12 year old Citroen C4 which is low mileage and very good condition for its age. It has a noise which we can't trace and she has decided she fancies something new. No point wasting cash on brand new so approx 3 years old. Petrol , must be an auto, and five doors. Smaller than a C4 .
My thoughts go along the lines of
Honda Jazz, Kia Cee'd, Toyota Yaris.
Just used for short trips to town , petanque matches , taking friends to the hospital etc.
Not 3 door as then the doors are larger and less practical when getting out in tight parking spaces!

Better suggestions?

Might be worth looking at a used Leaf if she just does local trips and if she can get it charged.

Suzuki Splash lends itself to older drivers due to the higher seating position and easy access. They are cheap to run and good to drive also.
