Funny looking testicle.

One of my testicles looks very strange.

Best way to describe it is that it looks empty, with raised, and very prominent, very dark, almost black veins.

The other is normal.

This has been going on for around 3 days, I am type 2 diabetic if it's relevant.

I will be getting to the docs A.S.A.P., but wondered if this is anything someone on here is aware of, for a little reassurance in the meantime.

Go to GP, go directly to GP do not pass go.

Go to the GP, they will probably:

- feel you up
- get you to cough
- shine their little ear / nose torch against it
- refer you for a scan if they have any concern

The ultrasound is very very good at telling if you have a mass (maybe bad), cyst (meh) or varicocele (varicose vein of the bk).

From my experience, I was referred as an urgent case - falling into the 2 week cancer waiting list.

Easy peasy.

If you feel it all day every day you'll start convincing yourself you have stage 3 ball cancer!

Get to the docs - maybe use the right words with the (no doubts) evil receptionist to get an urgent appt.

eta: not a doc, just went through the above in Q1 this year.
