....Britain's best club being TVR ownership.

I bought my one and only TVR a little over 12 years ago and never intended to sell it. However, circumstances eventually dictated and now it's gone.

I've owned many many motors over the last 37 years and had the privilege to drive some really special ones worth up to £750,000 apiece but none were better than my Chimaera 450 and I really mean that.

I'm with you totally Andy. I had a 450 for seven years and despite being on my second Cayman since I sold the Tiv, I hold TVR ownership as the greatest motoring experience of my life. I suspect it will always be. It is not just the special noise or the obsessive nature of Tiv ownership but the group of people to whom we join in the madness is quite honestly the most fantastic bunch out there, anywhere. One day I may just jump back in.

Buy one! just keep it as a second car. I am on my 3rd, love it, hate it (especially when it goes wrong) gives me something to do, lovely noise and a big big smile.
