Pre purchase worries (5.0)

I have a couple of concerns about a 5.0 purchase, coming out of 1st and 3rd the gearbox feels abit sticky (only way to describe it) and clutch feels a bit, well, grabby/mechanically sticky.

Only driven 4.0's and they have been fine, should i be worried ??

This and the fact that service history seems a bit sparse are holding me back, will a good warranty alleviate my worries ??

From what you have already said, swerve.

Warranties are a mixed bag; NEVER rely on them though.

Best get a good 'un off the bat and minimise your exposure to the foul buggers...
