Modern equivalent for a 1994 C230 kompressor coupe

What would be a modern equivalent for one of these, I'm guessing a C class coupe? They don't come in a compact bodyshell with hatchback though or do they?

C-Class coupe, but no it is not a hatchback.

It depends how modern you're talking because the CLC was made up until about 2009.

Also thinking about other makes, BMW 2 series coupe comes closest I think? Only interested in new for the moment.

Take a look at the CLA or C Coupe in terms Mercedes or take a look at the A3 saloon which I think look very smart.

The nearest in the Mercedes range to the C Sport Coupe / CLC now days is the A class. Having driven several they didn't work the same to me as my sport coupe. Although not being able to get on with the driving position and the afterthought display screen may have been a big contributor.
