Montreal Blue

Hi all, reasonably new TVR owner here! After a costly and time-consuming slipped liner issue and the fitment of 8 top hats to the Chim, I decided a respray is required! Original colour is Montreal Blue, I would like to keep the car the same colour. I know the Montreal Blue is a BMW colour, I am just wondering if anyone knows whether or not TVR made any changes to the standard BMW colour as I have seen it listed as Montreal Blue Mica in the past and would like to get as close to original TVR colour as possible! I have also seen the Montreal Blue mentioned as the same as Mauritius Blue as I scoured the depths of PH search pages!

Also, any pictures of your Montreal Blue TVR's would be great, particularly Chimaeras. Mine has been rather faded ever since I purchased the car two years ago so any examples of the colour in its prime would certainly be interesting!

If you want it an identical colour match, then Surface and Design in Blackpool are the folks to contact.

They have most of the original build sheets - certainly for the later cars and will probably have the exact spec' for the topcoat.
