Defender with Bilstein dampers
Discussion
Pretty simple really, my 1996 Defender was very wallowy. It is a station wagon with the levelled suspension. I replaced the worn out (rear were well past it) OEM type dampers with some Bilstein, a good choice. Anything new will be better than worn out but the car rides better than other 110 I have driven.
If only someone refurbished the Boge self-levelling struts. A great idea and much better than putting up with the ass in the air stance of the later non-levelled suspension.
