OK, I'm going to have the car re-sprayed hopefully later in the year but I don't know whether to keep it a similar colour or go for something else?
It's currently dark solid blue but the dark colours do show up scratches so easily and can look more scruffy than say a silver car.
I also think that dark "solid" (non-metallic) colours can show marks more obviously than a similar shade metallic colour.
The S does look good in a dark colour .....
Opinions very welcome.

..just think how it would set off some nicely re-chromed headlight surrounds
I've just fitted some nice new shiny chrome headlight surrounds.
Trouble is, I'd have to re-colour or possibly replace the blue roof

Nice, looks good in your profile.
Pacific blue is a new jaguar colour, has it been resprayed recently?? Looks nice in the pic.

There's a gorgeous Jag in the car park here at work, it's a mid blue but not the cobalt type of blue you see sop frequently, it's a bit darker than that. A stunning colour.
Darker definitely gives a deeper shine. Just take a look at the pics of my S3 with the Griff. But I drove the Griff 300 miles through the pouring rain and when I got in all that was dirty was the wheels. The silver hides the dirt very well. Although I don't think a Silver S would work as well as a Dark one.
