brake pedal adjustment
Discussion
Afternoon,
Just finished fitting new wheel cylinders in a bid to improve my stopping ability (changed master cylinder and calipers 2 months ago!). I have also adjusted the rear shoes so that my handbrake works. But, with the engine off (ie servo not operating) there appears to be a bit of play in the pedal travel, roughly an inch before it feels that the master cylinder is operated, can it be adjusted?
The car does stop very well but the total pedal travel seems longer than I would have expected or have I got too used to driving my girlfriends clio?
thanks
Alex
