High Protein / Lower Carb quick breakfast/lunch?
Discussion
As per the thread title. I have lost a stone so far on conventional calorie reduction but feel hungry all the time. I would like to substitute my usual breakfast & lunches (both bread based) for something quick but low carb and high protein. Breakfast is probably OK as I am happy with a tin of sardines but would appreciate lunch ideas. There are plenty on Google but all require quite a bit of prep and I'm lazy.
Evening meals are fine as I can make some simple swaps to reduce carbohydrate.
Thanks!

plonk a bunch of salmoln fillets on some foil on a baking tray. Sprinkle on some "fish" seasoning off of the herbs and spices isle. Wrap foil into a parcel. Oven bake 200C 20 mins.
Grab a bag of Tesco sliced leek & cabbage. Pour bag contents into a buttery frying pan. Muddle around a bit. Sprinkle on loads of salt, pepper and chilli spice mix.
Divide into portions. Grate on some Parmesan.
Bosh. That's a few days lunches.
Successful low carb meals are all about the herb n spice game. Oh and endless bags of pork scratchings.

Chicken and roasted vegetables prepped on a Sunday for the week.
Mini chicken fillets fried with Maggi papyrus paper things
Roasted parsnips, carrots, peppers, butternut squash with a garam masala, paprika, chilli flake and olive oil dressing
Boiled green beans and mangetout
Delicious hot or cold

On a more sensible note
eggs - boiled, egg mayo, egg butter, frittatas are great (think pastry free quiche) - grab a little salad veg on the side and job jobbed
you could also substitute eggs for chicken, tuna, ham, steak, prawns etc.
for breakfast I generally just have bullet proof coffee (usually coconut oil and butter coffee smoothie - though I don't take butter very often)

Egg drop soup e.g. http://nomnompaleo.com/post/129592158903/simple-eg...
Frittatas e.g. http://www.thomasridley.co.uk/stiritup_recipe61.ht...

I am planning on trying low carb scotch eggs at some point e.g. https://low-carb-support.com/low-carb-scotch-egg/
The main thing is to substitute the breadcrumb coating for some kind of nut flour/ground nuts, and to go as low carb as possible for the sausage meat.
All I need then is a decent pastry free pork pie recipe and I'm sorted

How many calories are you eating per day and what it your current weight?Evening meals are fine as I can make some simple swaps to reduce carbohydrate.

Calorie controlled diets are difficult to maintain and will make you hungry. The only way to keep yourself feeling content is by prepping all your meals so you know exactly how many calories are put into each meal.
Soups can fill you up for longer but no bread and butter. Don't use powered types or the luxury brands. Again home made is best.

Things I find useful.
Eggs
Cold cooked chicken
Ham
Beef jerky / biltong
Cottage cheese
Tinned tuna
Prawns
Massive bowl of salad
Konjac noodles
Mr Porky Crispy Strips - they're not as nice as proper pork scratchings, but 40g is a couple of hundred calories and 25g of protein
