WEC Nurburgring

Anyone here been? I'm wondering what the campsite options around the track are like - the official website lists one camping option, but no details on where or what the facilities are.

Official camping on a steep slope with some flat ish bits is walking distance to track. Has toilets and showers.

The camping Nurburgring is an utter rip off. We were asked for two nights 4 people and electrics with a caravan over €250!!!! Yes it is next to the track though.

I would go with the official camping or CentreParcs nearby as hotel option.
