Evening all, as the title really.

I've been offered the car by a close friend, 25k miles FSH at marenello, Registered Cat D and can be mine for 20k.

Is this good value? How hard are these to shift after being a Catd? Anything to look out for when I go and check her out tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

Id buy it if it's clean enough. Has he got pics of the accident damage?

if it's a close friend and he's being honest with you about what damage occurred etc then £20k is a great price for the car imo

let us know how it goes and bare in mind the new Fiesta 1.0 is virtually the same price as this! (https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/first-drives/ford-fiesta-2017-review)

I'd do it... even with a load of miles on & cat D it's not going to be worth a lot less than £20k in a few years
