where to go in preston?

Any recommendations for smart places to go please,on a sat night.
I'll be with 2 young Australians hell bent on trying out there Aussie charms on the poor women of Preston.

Depends what you want!
Preston has something for everyone. Some of my fave places...

Reflex - 80's bar with dance poles
Revolution - Russion vodka bar with shots in every flavour and colour!
Assembly - nice atmosphere and pool tables
Greyfriars - wetherspoons
Squares - cocktail bar
Browns - if you like RnB

Club wise
Warehouse - Rock and indie - excellent!
Roper - Student club really with chart and some indie
Squires - more sophisticated I suppose but music is chart dance usually
Tokes - teenie boppers, stear clear

There are tonnes of places I could list really. Majority are all down the main street though so pretty easy to find!

great,thats us sorted then.
I think I've tried to go to revolution before,but the queue was 45 mins.Might try and tough it out if its a premier night spot.

Just as a back up,any 'definite meat markets' we can pencil in,not my choice of course,for my guests.

I'd have to agree with Lois, but i'll add...

Loft - Owned by a friend, had to recommend it really, it is quite classy, attracts similar clientelle
Voodoo Lounge - Chilled downstairs, dj upstairs
Yates - The Aussies may have heard of this...?
Cafe Manyana - Popular, gets a bit warm downstairs

Club wise, i would only add...
The Mill - if you like Student Goths/Punks etc?

oo I actually went to the Loft last week for the 1st time. Different type of music but they don't sell wine downstairs!
