They seem to have a good reputation. If it sounds good just keep it.

Weird!

Just bought an S1 with the brooke s/s exhaust fitted also. Had heard the term 'sewing machine' from stock, noise is anything but with this!. Have exhaust, will travel.

If you want to make your brook kensington exhaust sound better, fit an induction kit. If you have more air going in, you'll get more air going out. You'll get a more aggressive note and not annoy the track officails with high DB's on track days.

A De-Cat can put you up too a 102-104 DB's depending on your exhaust this can stop you playing on some circuits!

I know becasue i had a S1 111s with brook zaust, and K&N 57i induction (£50-£55). It'll give you only another 2bhp at a push, but the noise is excellent. The de-cat i then put on gets the exhaust popping on the down change and over run and a race car bark on acceleration. If you're not doing track days then you'll be fine with the de-cat. But the cat's gotta be on for the MOT! and Goodwood circuit amongst others.....

I have the K&N induction kit on mine that i have modified so it sits right by the air intake as far away from the engine as i could get it.

last thing i want is to struggle with sound testing tahts why i wanted a sports cat gives some silencing and i can then forget about MOTs
