I have a couple of Aston Martin watches that I've been asked to sell.

Does anyone have an idea about how much they might be worth, or whether they are of particular interest at all to collectors?

I made a thread on the watches subreddit over at reddit and they found a couple of instances of them being auctioned in the region of £600-800, so I guess there is demand out there for them.

And to anyone who has sold something like this before.. how do you go about it? My thinking right now is to just put it on ebay with an appropriate reserve and hope word spreads to the relevant people who are interested!

Apologies beforehand for been so negative but who the hell thought screwing a name plate on the strap was a good idea, there cannot possibly be any link to Aston Martin.
No idea on value, stick them on eBay and someone will buy them, maybe.

I should've done my research really..

They're actually made by Jaeger-LeCoultre, and although nothing like a fancy Omega, they're hardly Mickey Mouse watches either! Which is reassuring!

Just as well, as to be perfectly honest they don't really look like the kind of watch i'd imagine an Aston owner would wear. A hopelessly oversized logo normally implies all-mouth-and-no-trousers. smile

I think they were probably targetted at the people sitting in the back of the Aston on the way to the 'meet and greet at the French embassy', rather than to the guy actually driving it there!

Definitely not watch enthusiasts watches though I don't think!

They look like utter tat!

The Amvox Jaegers are an entirely different proposition. They are very nice.

I imagine they have everything to do with Aston. Premium marques often knock out appalling tat to their customers, who you'd think would know better but often don't.
