Alfa 2000 GTV compared to Spider
Discussion
Yes the GT version always seems to be higher valued than the spider. I think there are a few reasons, the spider had a very long life, you could still buy a series 4 new, when the last of the GT were already a classic.
Some of the Spider models are a bit iffy, a series 3 is not really worth much, but a duetto is well up with GT prices.
The GT has a strong racing pedigree and it really is a damned good car to drive when subtly modified. The Spider was always seen as a cruiser rather than a sports car, nothing wrong with that, but I do think it affects the vales.
Not many cars that are worth more as a tin top than an open top, but the 105 bucks the trend.

I do like the look of the Spider, the bumpers changed for the worse from a visual point of view on the later models imho.
