I've recently purchased a L405 2014 SDV8 Autobiography and having driven the car for a few miles I am very pleased with it however the ride seems very bouncy.

For me personally it feels like it leans too much and under acceleration it feels like it's doing a wheelie!

The Range Rover replaces my wife's Cayenne therefore am I being too critical on the handling by comparison or have other people reported similar experiences?

Mines not bouncy. Could be a problem with the dynamic suspension?

If you can, try another with the same engine as the V6's have a different suspension.

My concerns are there could be a problem somewhere with the suspension but I'd hoped it would have reported the fault via the warning system.

Doesn't sound right, I have a Cayenne and my parents have a petrol L405 and I'd describe the main differences between the two being that the steering is a bit lighter and less precise and that the ride is more floaty although that disappears to an extent if you put it in sport mode.

It squats under hard acceleration a bit but not excessively and the body roll isn't excessive at all for the type of car, although it does feel more than the Cayenne as you sit higher.

Probably not your particular problem but it's worth pointing out that they're quite sensitive to geometry, we had ours done and it transformed it even though it wasn't a million miles out.

I've heard that the V6's without the active suspension are a bit like what you describe.

Get it plugged into a diagnostic tool - might through up an error message.. failing that find a decent indy.
