Hi all, just a whinge
On Monday morning I got hit with vertigo. Tried to get out of bed and the whole room went round, I got nauseous etc. Couldn't get in the GP so off to the local minor treatment centre, diagnosed with either an inner ear infection or Labyrinthitis. I have some Betahistane which helps a little, but I'm just exhausted and can't focus for more than 30 mins at a time. When the vertigo subsides, I get a headache!
Hopefully it will pass in a week or so...

I was diagnosed with labyrinthitis by my GP on a home visit at Easter last year, ended up taking an ambulance ride to A&E the following day and spent four days 'under observation' even though by the time I was moved up to a ward I felt fine. It seems they thought I may have had a stroke as I was transferred to a single en-suite room in the stroke unit. I felt a fraud as i didn't feel ill at all but I had tests, a MRI scan etc. and had daily sessions with a physio even though I kept saying I was 100% OK. Better safe than sorry I suppose.
Worth trying this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4S4CbuN6QA
after I had vertigo for a period
this sorted it,
really was grim the only relief was sitting on the Floor to save from falling over.
Mrs V40TC carried out the Instuctions in the Video, once we had identified the ear causing the issue.
I suggest doing it in the garden as projectile Vomitting can insue when the Spinning really gets Going.
