For the 3rd time now my car has run very poorly when the fuel gets down to about 15ltrs, if you stick another couple gallons in, it runs fine again
I had a job shaking off a Imprezza P1 on the dual carriage way into Bognor yesterday, there again i did have the "rev limiter" with me she wasn`t impressed
Has any one else had this? fuel, not rev limiter If so what cause`s it?

I haven't had the sand to run it that low.
Even when there's 30 odd litres left, a quick left/right/accelerate combination sees the readout go from 30-10-55-5 ltrs.

Keep mine topped up to 1/2 tank plus at all times.
Maybe it's Deja-Vu, but I swear I'm in the petrol station every single day!

I did warn you about that! Personally, I liked to think of it as a G-meter.

Never let it drop below 30 unless I had to myself, either. Had it down to 12 litres twice on Eurohoon (so it's not totally inaccurate), and it wasn't particularly happy about it - just didn't run quite so smooth.

There must be a hand/pump gag here somewhere

had this twice with tuscans and once with a cerbera ,
it was due to water getting into tank, runs down filler neck , i drained tank sorted out problem,
i also had one that when i filled it right up ,the carbon can in front wing sucked petrol into to it and injected it straight into engine, took me ages to find problem replaced everthing else befor i found that one.
hope this might help, can talk you threw draning tank if needed.

The problem with regular top-ups is I get a really overwheling spell of petrol in the cabin for a while afterwards - anyone know what this might be?
