WTF has happened to google news website!

[souper]

Jeeze, I've just now been updated to the latest "New Look" www.news.google.com/news it's absolutely terrible now full of white space and even less content; more awkward to find stuff, may have to go to Yahoo or something.

It needed a redesign badly.

The one it got isn't particularly inspiring though.

Certainly seems like a backwards step.

It also defaults to 'US' for location, so I have to change it to UK every time I view it (presume if you leave your google account signed in, it picks up as UK, but I never do).
