Today. CH5. 20:30hrs.
Same time as University Challenge on BBC2 so watch that and record 5th Gear so you can rewind & rewatch the good bits.

ah right explains it.

I found the torrent:

http://gear.viper007bond.com/downloads.php

but 4th april has nothing to do with trevors. So.. 11th April is the one. cool.

For those outside UK (or 5 coverage), it looks like you can grab it from that site above after broadcast.

This might help

Fifth Gear (Motoring)
Time - 20:30 - 21:00 (30 minutes long)
When - Monday 11th April on five
This programme has been highlighted due to keywords in the programme name

Motoring magazine. Vicki Butler-Henderson and Jason Plato become the first people in the world to test-drive the new TVRs. Tom Ford travels to a Cornish slate quarry to test the Fiat Panda 4x4 head-to-head against the Land Rover. And Tiff Needell meets the millionaire sports car fans of the 'VMax' club.

There is a video download function on the page from the link above. I assume that in due time there will be something from the TVR bit ?

A torrent is a very small file that tells you computer where to 'look' on the 'internet' for other computers that also hold the same file, and consequently to start downloading the film/programme/album/file from those computers.

At the same time as you're downloading various bits of main file (NOT the torrent file), your computer is also uploading other bits to people like yourself, who are obviously downloading from you.

The 'torrent' file is just a placeholder, a means for your computer to determine what its supposed to be downloading, and where to look. The main file is the film or whatever it is you're downloading, and can be anything from 1MB to 4GB. Typical films are about 700MB, just enough to fit on a CD.

You need a client programme that can use torrents, I suggest using Azureus (google it). You don't have to pay a thing for it, although I would recommend a broadband connection at least. Also make sure you have a firewall, and anti-virus.

Oh, and torrents won't get you in trouble unless you're hosting a website that allows you to download the torrent files (which in this country is perfectly legal anyway).

Download Azureus, and download the torrent file linked above, once Azureus is installed just double-click the torrent, and Azureus will take care of the rest. It will probably take a few hours to download, and the longer you stay connected, the faster it downloads.
