Honda CV joint failure?
Discussion
Hello, what's this noise please? Audible while driving (but not so much cornering). Don't know much about cars obviously.. Thanks https://youtu.be/rXqPt1ZFRE4
What you are doing there is repeatedly taking up geartrain backlash in opposite directions & sounds pretty normal & I suspect is not what you can hear on the road unless you routinely sit stationary in your car with the handbrake on engaging 1st/reverse in quick succession.
CV joint failure sounds like someone is banging 2 hammers together on the driveshaft but only when on full lock & applying the throttle.
Whilst it is not entirely impossible that that is what you are also repeating it is impossible to tell until you try the above test.
