IT is a nightmare just recently my mum got a smart phone and facebook. Fine to start with but then the comments started. You know typical mum ones on anything i post or old pics. I ended up having to put her on a restricted list. Really didn't want to i'd be happy for her to see pics of days out and fun things I do but not to make stupid mumsy type comments. If there is a banter thread going with work colleagues she posts as well. She just cannot see the line that "work" family" and "friends" life are different to me.

I really don't want to hurt her feelings by asking her to stop the coments as she really is a fantastic person with a heart of gold that has done alot for me but just doesn't seem to have "internet" street smarts.

I suspect though she has twigged that she is blocked from seeing posts as she has obviousy gone on my page and hasn't seen updates for a long time.

Has anyone else had this? What did you do?

If she has twigged you have blocked her and hasn't said as much, why do anything.

I can't comment as my mother is no longer with us!
Just count your blessings and be happy you still have a mother!

Nobody under 40 uses Facebook anymore. Go to Snap or Instagram or whatever. Or bring yer mum on PH.

My parents do this... I just put up with it, hoping they will get bored...

I did like it when my mother liked one of my posts, by writing "I like this"...

Me too, my mum passed away a few years ago (I'm officially a no-Mum).

I'd love to have this 'problem'. 100% cherish having her around!
