996 Dash Removal?
Discussion
Morning chaps,
Quick question for someone, I'm sure....does anyone know of a link to how the 996 dash/centre console/stereo fascia can be removed please?
Always install my own hi-fi/amps/speakers and other gadgets (garage door openers
etc) so am okay once I can get to the gubbins, but seeing as car is new to me, I'm just being a bit cautious before trying anything...something like a Haynes Manual would be great (but wishful, prob!)
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Tremendous, thanks for the info chaps....
Bob, haven't read the contents yet, but looks spot-on....and, of course, I can drool over pics of the Ultima whilst on there
Koenig999....I seem to remember registering for the rennlist site a few months ago whilst investigating 996's...I'll hop back on, now that you've reminded me.
scoobyc...good idea, let me know which one if you go for one, I'll go halves with ya mate if you can send us a copy?
....I've got the GT3 front pu on mine, so locating a suitable place is going to be interesting (it fitted nicely in the honeycomb of the scooby grill)...may well need to know how to remove the bumper too!
Cheers
