Thanks to all the organisers for a smashing BBWF - we didn't stay for the museum so it's probably still going on!

The talk today with the 5 ex-TVR cronies was excellent. A great source of information and anecdotes.

It was such a memorable weekend with such a great bunch of people. Finally got to meet some people that I have only talked to on here for 10 years! I agree with Adam - the VIP Q&A was great, both funny and interesting (especially with Oliver's answer to my question... "Sorry, was that for me? I'm deaf as a post you know!". Thanks to Howie for relaying it for me!).

Thanks to Mark and Howie - brilliant job.

I'd like add my thanks to Mark and Howard too. I'd also like to thank Mark and John (wooly) for acting as taxis to and from Ragley Hall after my ultra reliable Mondeo blew it's turbo yards from the entrance. Some of you will have seen me waiting for recovery but the wait was worth it as I and my wife could watch, listen and in some cases feel the noise as you drove by. At least my wife now recognises the distinctive wedge sound. I will now be commuting to work in the wedge, ironic isn't it. (didn't take it yesterday because my wife hurt her back on Thursday).

Graham.

Well done, guys, for an absolutely superb event. I've been to a few other car events and that was the best organised one ever. The meal was excellent, the chat on Sunday was even better. The firework display gets a thumbs up as well. Lovely bunch of people.

How do you top it? Perhaps no power cut while I was in the shower and do something about the M25.

Brilliant.

I'll post some photographs and video later.

Thanks again.

Likewise my thanks to Mark and Howard and all involved in making it a fabulous BBWF. It was my fourth year and certainly the biggest and best. Great venue, great food, great company and superbly organised, and to top it all the 390 got there and back without a hitch, apart from a squeak somewhere on the front suspension. Also very enlightening to hear from Chris regarding the history of the SEAC racers. Hope you all got back safely. Cheers Keith

Dont you mean special VIP Guests i certainly would never think or refer to Mr Martin Lilley as an ex TVR Cronie? without Martin and His Father rescuing the Company you certainly would never have your car

I'd also like add my thanks to Mark and Howard. Also anyone else who was involved (and I'm sure there were a few more).
I've been to quite a few TVR events over the years and I think this was one if not the best. The firework display really did top it off.
Great to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while and to also meet quite a few new people.
The guests were great and the Q & A really interesting.
A massive thank you from Laura and myself. We had a brilliant weekend.

A great selection of cars ,including some nice curvy ones, and to top it off a great bunch of owners,I could have spent all day chatting!
Roll on next year.
Thanks one and all.

Hi Mark,
I really tried to make it over from the USA to the BBWF but work got in the way again, as usual. I hope the pictures will start pouring in so we can see what a great time some of us missed.
Also, now you have to do the analysis of stuff like; how many cars total and by each model. Longest drive, most pints consumed in each pub, trophy winners by category, breakdowns by car and type and any other interesting info and stories.

We will have at least 3 TVRCCNA Midwest Region members heading over to Goodwood for the unveiling of the new car. Not me again though.

Actually I must admit to a minor disappointment.

When I got home I had to empty the dishwasher. (This wasn't the disappointment though that Amy hadn't done it... ;^)

I pulled out my BBWF 2011 mug and I realised - for the first time in ages we didn't get any mugs this year! Boo hooo......

Still can't be all that bad I as I didn't realise till I got home... ;^)

Sounds like we will have to send the lads round to sort them both out then Adam, but thinking about it I think it would be more fitting to confiscate an item from one of them ,may I suggest the Elephant?!!!!!

The only things I would change about this weekend:

1) Traffic on the way up (4 hours instead of 2.5)
2) Clutch master cylinder starting to leak on the way back from Ragley Hall
3) Heater hose splitting within 5 miles of leaving the hotel yesterday

Other than that, everything else was great!! smile

Thanks again to those who helped in my time of need!

That was such a great weekend!

Big thanks to Mark and everybody involved with this superb Organisation (all those celebrities -cars and people)
Hasslefree drives to and from,
Met the same great people as last year -and many new,
All those cars,
Good food,
Good drink,
Nice chats with people I thought I would never meet,
Relaxed atmosphere,
...
could go on for ours, must be longdistancewedgetravelsyndrome.
Or just exhaust fumes.

It was a real pleasure
Henning
