The photo looks like it could be a Harry Styles promotional shot. The clothing, the hairstyle, all look quite fashionable.
The thing is that the photo is over 150 years old!

Isn't it!
At first glance he could be a model in the latest advert for some fancy clothing range.
In reality it's the American Civil War era photo of a doomed young man, caught up in a conspiracy of the highest order, contemplating his fate while en-route to trial for a capital offence.

Oh cripes, didn't see it through to the end. That's awful.
Does it being in colour strangely bring it closer to home?

Quite amazing how our perception of the age of photo can be changed with colour.

Also I find it interesting how our 'connection' to an image can be strengthened by use of both colour or monochrome - I find some B&W images can give as much impact as colour, but then suddenly seeing the same image in colour brings a more powerful connection.

I don't know if this is colorised or orginal but meet Guy Gibson and his crew...
