Hmmm, will need to change the licence plate in a few days. Easy peasy or pain in the...?

Suspect I need some kind of bonding solution, any recommendations?

Is it just a case of prising off the old one and glueing on the new?

Front or back? Never touched the back one but the front sits on a plinth and is attached with screws.

Halfords sell what you want, I think are called bodywork fixing screws.. somethign like that anyway. Plastic screws that go into a plastic sleeve. Usually found on those racks that is fuill of bags of connectors and fuses at the back of the store. Couple of quid and no time at all to put on, drilling holes in the new plate is the only problem espeically if you lost the last one

What a great service! Too many options.... do I want to keep it simple and elegant? I am worried that with all the borders and logo's it will look cluttered and draw attention away from the car.
I want the 3/4 size plate for the front. Am I creating a cop magnet? Am I going to get the over zealous git with a tape measure if I put this on my car?

So long as the letters and spacing meet the required standards you're within the law. Anything outside of that and you're tempting fate. However, a fair few people run without a front plate (keep it in the boot and claim it fell off if they get pulled) and even more with funny letters and odd spacing (usually on Nova's though ). You pays yer money and takes yer chance!

The numberplate fell of my del sol once. I found out about it when I stopped outside the bank and got surrounded by police cars.
