Do I need to have Porsche warranty to buy Porsche assist?

I believe you only need to have the car serviced at the OPC to qualify for Porsche assist.
Don't think the above is correct. You can have Porsche Assist with OPC Warranty or leave it off and have warranty only.OP keep the warranty. Well worth having on an old 997.1 turbo if you're using regularly. If not being used daily or not being driven hard probably not needed

On expiration of my 3 year Warranty on my Cayenne, I have purchasesd just Porsche Assist without the warrantyextension being required, I did it all over the phone at a cost of £275 for 2 years including Europe.
£275 for two years , surely this is no better than breakdown cover or am i wrong?Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
