April Golf leases - anyone taken delivery yet?

My wife ordered a Golf GTi, in April, on one of the excellent lease deals that went live for about 36 hours.

After months of waiting, it's finally in the country, and will be ready for delivery soon.

When she placed the order, the excess mileage fee was 6.98p per mile, plus VAT. But now, they say this has increased to 9p plus VAT.

If you have successfully taken delivery of a Golf GTi ordered in April from a main dealer through VWFS what is the excess mileage rate on your contract?

I was told that mine was 9p plus vat. I've just had the VWFS finance documentation through and it is indeed 9p plus vat.

The VW tracker says my car is in final stages of transport and will reach the dealer in around 10 days time.

Ordered 3rd April.

Got mine 2 weeks ago, great car and really happy to be back in a gti.

Told from the off that excess was 9p plus vat. VWFS increased the charges in Q1 this year so I'd have a word with the dealer who incorrectly advised.

Got mine a month ago. It's certainly a much more grown up car than the ZS180 it replaced, and although it doesn't have the Zed's go-kart like handling or lovely V6 noise everything else is what you'd expect. It absolutely wants to be driven

I took the lease with 10,000 miles. Excess mileage charges aren't likely for me
