Facebook Business Page Issues

Afternoon folks,

So I've started trying to get my FB page working for me, I haven't touched it in 2 years and its been neglected!

I have managed to get back into my account only to find half the buttons don't work and I can't change my profile picture, I have a feeling this could be down to the browser but it is the same on Chrome, Edge and Explorer on my computers at work and at home, it also doesn't work on the iPads, phones etc. So perhaps if this is not a browser issue could it be that I don't have the correct user rights to change some items?

Issues:

I have created a picture at the right resolution, I can upload it to an album but not directly as a profile picture, the circling timer happens but then nothing changes. Also trying to set an uploaded picture from an Album does nothing.

The help button in the top right corner doesn't work, I click it and nothing happens.

I cannot click messages, again nothing happens.

Does this sound familiar to anybody, are these known compatibility issues with browsers or have I limited access to what I can do on my FB page?

Have you tried it on your phone using the Pages app?

That's odd, if I sign into the app on my phone I don't have access to any content already on the business page including photo's etc.

It almost looks like a completely blank personal FB account....

Did you set up a separate account for the company page?

Yea, I set up a separate account specifically for the business page.

Sorted it, just started a new page and instantly everything works.
