Father Ted, of course!
No - he's a mechanic. Someone, for example, that can decide whether it's right to run over a traffic warden. I don't think Ted wouldn't want the job.![]()

I'm not a mechanic......I'm Spartacus.......
Being Pope is a bit of a dead end job, so don't really fancy it myself.......i'm assured of a place in heaven Tho' God is my co-driver ......
....but the answer to the above question is ,of course......
YES IT'S OKAY TO RUN OVER TRAFFIC WARDENS anyone else want some spiritual advice from Craggy Islands clerical contingent?

The pope should not be one of us commoners, but a higher and respected figure. I nominate Stirling Moss - he even looks the part.
As the Pope is the Invisible Friend's mouthpiece on Earth and is therefore infallible, our version should be one of the Moderators.

PHer: "Why ?"

The SinBin could be our version of Hell.

But it couldn't be Petrol Ted himself because he is GOD
Its a tricky one-perhaps it is time for the First Female Pope-step forward Mrs Fish
