Garmin 520 question

Trying to get a GPX sent by a ride organiser to work, and I've had some issues. However, I've got it to the point where I can upload it to Strava, download it as a TCX and import it to my 520 Edge. However, I'm confused as to why I see two lines on the 2nd image. The 1st image has a blue on purple line, whilst the 2nd one has the original purple line, and a blue line. The blue line in the 2nd image is the route I *think* I've uploaded, so I'm not sure what the purple one is there for.





Does anybody know what's going on?
