Off at 165mph

Mate of mine met this chap on the Eurotunnel, said the ends of the wing on his GT4 flew off at 165 on the Autobahn

Yep, looks like Mr Demon's car. GB sticker in the rear window is identical.

He didn't mention the loss of spoiler tips in his thread....

He also fitted new window deflectors I believe to reduce buffeting, probably unrelated but would be interesting to hear if there's anything we should know about from a safety perspective. Are there any tracks you can reach 165mph on a GT4 ??

You never know, the deflectors may have done enough to the airflow to cause this as surely Porsche have tested them to max V?

I've done 165mph a few times in mine and it's fine...
