this isn't a plug for my company, just sharing something cool with like minded people.

After couple of beers too many I agreed with face in space (some engineers from finton) to fund sending a weather balloon up to the edge of space with a go pro attached.

Approx 600 quid, but for the exposure it got us in the press and social media it was worth it

Is the payload doing anything else apart from taking the camera up?

i love the way it swings around giving a good coverage all around even if it is a little drunken.

I did the same a little while ago

A mate of mine is a massive Action Man fan and he arranged to send 'Major Tom' into near space in an Action Man space capsule.

Unfortunately it broke up many miles up and whilst the GoPro was found sadly Major Tom remains missing.

My company logo can be seen in this image and it was for some days on local and regional news so I didn't mind the exposure (not sure I actually got any business mind you )





I also got one of 5 unique Action men with a handmade space suit bearing my name, dog tags and all sorts of rare Action Man material.

I'm not a massive fan albeit I did play with them when I was much younger.

I've already had calls from interested parties wanting to buy everything off me at a massive profit.

MT currently sits In his box in a drawer to be kept safe and sound
