I have a beautiful Boxster S 2012 and it sound great but........................I want more noise, sense of occasion and of course pops and bangs on the downshift. What is the best option having been let down by aftermarket parts before I am very cautious..........

get some cargraphic Manifolds and a tune to 375BHp :-) the 981 is a great car to mod.

Carnewal GT exhaust.

I had mine fitted yesterday and now get pops and crackles on every downshift.
Cruises easy and no drone or boom at constant speed like motorway.

Put your toe down and it wails beautifully.
Reasonably quiet and reserved when you want, race car when you want.

Seems a very versatile exhaust on initial impressions.

....oh and roof down - its just what you want.

495 euros, its the same either delivered where you will have to pay someone to fit or to have gert at carnewal to fit free of charge if you drive.
You also may need some new hardware and gaskets due to corrosion so factor another 50 quidish for that

I thought the popping was down to software rather than the exhaust.

With the standard exhaust, no other mods, I sometimes got a little crackle on stationary revving. You couldn't hear it inside the car though.
Nothing when driving.

Carnewal fitted, I get pops and crackles on demand. Every downshift.
Something I also read about before I bought, but never really expected getting, without some other mods.

495 euro delivered.
Get one ordered. biggrin

You'd never expect the exhaust note when high up in the rev range either.
