996 SIM Tray facia
Discussion
Folks,
The SIM tray on my PCM has lost the front bit - the bit that shows, as it were. The tray is still there, it's just the cosmetic bit that's missing.
Apparently I can have it replaced by removing the entire unit but this seems overkill.
Does anyone know where I can source either a broken tray to cannibalise, or at least the bit on the front that shows?
Many thanks,
Richard

Sorry to hijack your post without giving you any useful info, but yor predicament reminds me of an issue a colleague had with his 996 Turbo years ago.
While still under warranty the tiny spring that ejects the SIM tray broke. OPC couldn't source a new spring alone and ended replacing the whole PCM unit!

If you're down south this company replaced the SIM tray on my 996 (about 5 years ago !!) :
