There's a South African produced replica for sale on eBay - not very new though.

Still, I saw the current one as the Donington Kit car show in 2003. Looks great. Bespoke order and manufacture in ZA for delivery here. Typical price was estimated to be around 70k.
You need to be agile to get in and out, have very small feet (at least in the demonstrator you did) and at 5' 11" ish I was a snug fit. The seat adjustment was about an inch fore and aft.
Perhaps they really do need to be bespoke!
Edit to add - just read the article referenced by Paul B. which pretty much confirms the figures I recall from the time.
Also, despite my comments above, I would dearly love to have the use of one if only I could justify the investment. Perhaps I couls sell the Wife and daughters into slavery?

Do research..do LOTS of research.
ALso go to www.GT40s.com for more reading.
There are alot of really BAD old replica brands out there if you wanted to buy used. Its up to you to do the research to find the right brand/car for you, and remember to check things like proper registration etc.
Its a mine infested ocean of sharks out there and everybody and their grandmother are self-proclaimed experts so be careful. Also the new interest in the new Ford GT has made owners of replicas ask for silly money in the used market.
The green/yellow one is an early KVA and has been for sale for a looooong time starting at £38K+ once.
Have a look at the roaring forties GT40 from australia. they have just dropped prices on their kits.
