It's a far superior uniform than the horror that was grunge. As trends go it has been one of the better ones.
+1I was too young for hippies, too much business for punk, embraced the look but not the behaviour of Yuppies, liked the smarter clothes of the 1990s - bought the Armani suits and the English Brogues, settled now in jeans and shirts.
Hipster look is just fine with me.

What's next though?
Given the Millenials ultra aggressive intolerance to anything that doesn't precisely confirm to their political doctrine, their constant talk of 'living space' and total absence of natural empathy for anything other than them self or a cat then I can only assume that the natural progression is to follow history, remove the beard, trim the tach and procure some snazzy, well fitted grey suits? It's going to be Nazi Chic isn't it?

Can't understand why someone young wants to grow a load of face lace that puts years on them (unless they're 16 and trying to get in a pub).
The young bloke beard will be the mullet of the future. People will be looking back and shaking their heads.
Weak chins?. Ultimately if you're spending your life shopping for clothes, wearing facial products, standing in doorways having banal conversations and reliant on someone else for your spending money then a beard is going to be the only means to tell what's male and what's female? The young bloke beard will be the mullet of the future. People will be looking back and shaking their heads.

stains down the front could be one to watch, logical progression from jeans with the knees ripped out.
