A trip down to Henry's estate last night proved exciting, if a little expensive.
I pick up my 993 C4S on Saturday.
Really glad I did the 944t and 968 CS thing - particularly the latter, but once 911's are under your skin they stay there.
I wanted a 993 C2 but ended up with this beast. Bright yellow C4S with turbo spoiler and 9m supercharger.

Welcome to the supercharged club
Surprised that you're not sure about the blower though. It makes the car so much nicer to drive. As to the tailing off of top-end power, I'm pretty sure this is an artefact of the mapping solution used (i.e. standard 993 ECU with supplementary chip and injector). Ninemeister, I believe, will do a remap on the rolling road to solve this...

I'm not doubting it Cyberface, just havn't made my mind up if I want it standard or 'large.
It certainly makes a hell of a noise when you wind it up
By the way out of interest what is the peak torque yours is producing. I have the BHP figure but not the all important twisting stuff as I don't have the car or paperwork yet

Around 300 lb ft if I remember correctly... the 9m guys were having problems with the printer connected to their rolling road, so I only got a photograph of the RR screen display rather than a proper printout
Yours may be slightly more powerful / torquey... it looks like Colin Jones' old car, and I'm sure he had the smaller diameter pulley on the blower. He was also talking about getting 9m to remap the ECU, but I'm not sure if he ever got it done or not.
Any more power than around 330-340 bhp will require an intercooler, which is the next development stage - Colin @ 9m mentioned they could do the kit, but I can't remember whether it would require big wings / removal of aircon, etc. (mine is a standard looking car with electric spoiler)
