Ideas for gift presentation

For her birthday, I've bought the missus some tickets to an event, plus a hotel for the weekend.

All I've got is two emails saying "Thanks for your booking" which will look a bit underwhelming if I print them out and hand them over

Any ideas of how to present the present (;)) with a bit more appeal?

I had thought of knocking something up in Photoshop to look like a voucher, but not sure of the wording to use. And it seems a bit lame

When I've done similar ... tickets to broadway show (plus the flight and hotel etc... to get there)

I've bought a souvenir off eBay or amazon of whatever it was and wrapped that plus the cert as the 'gift'

For a trip to NYC I booked for her I made a Lego Statue of Liberty and NYC Taxi and wrapped them

Faking up a voucher in Photoshop will look a bit lame, agreed.

I think your best bet would be to get a few pictures of the venue/event & hotel, and do a picture-heavy A4 flyer (you'll need nothing more advanced than MS Word for this).

Personalise it with a bit of text, along the lines of "[NAME], you're being whisked off to [EVENT] on [DATE], with an overnight stay at [HOTEL]".

Then something soppy at the end "All my love", etc.

She'll love it.
